Banquet Facilities Information
A final confirmation of the guaranteed number of guests is required by 9:00 p.m., three business days prior to the function. This number will be considered final and all charges will be made accordingly. Otherwise the guest count guarantee listed in the contract will be considered the final count.
Security Deposit (for wedding and special private events)
A security deposit of $300 is due at the time of booking the event. The security deposit will be returned at the end of the event providing no damages to Polonez Restaurant property including but not limited to the banquet hall, parking lot, table, chairs, restrooms, glassware, flatware, plates serving utensils etcetera. Should damage occur by anyone attending the event, the security deposit will be withheld until damaged property can be repaired or replace. The cost of the repair(s) and replacement(s) will be deducted from the security deposit and the balanced returned. If the repair or replacement cost exceed the amount of the security deposit, the person(s) signing the contract will be responsible for the difference.
The agreement may be cancelled by the client 60 days prior to the function. If notice of cancellation to the caterer is received prior to the event date, the deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation occurs after the required notice date, the client shall be liable for a cancellation fee, as well as compensatory damages, in an amount equal to the reasonably projected revenue of said function. The client's deposit shall be applied to the cancellation fee. Payment of the cancellation fee shall be made within 14 days of cancellation.
The agreemDecorating the banquet room is permitted one hour before guest arrival. If extra time is required, and decorating occurs beyond our business hours, there will be a room charge of $50.00. Taping of any items to walls and room dividers is not allowed. Candles on tables should be secure properly by non-flammable container to prevent leakage and prevent fire. Glitter and confetti is not allowed to be spread on tables due to small pieces being hazardous to food items and sticking to china and silverware. There will be a cleaning charge of$100.00 if any glitter and confetti decorating occurs
Gratuity and Taxes
A gratuity charge and applicable state and local taxes will be added to all food and beverage charges.
A portion of the function's cost is due upon booking. Refer to the catering contract for additional information on payments.
Cake Cutting Charges
For guests whom chose to bring a cake for the event, there will be a flat cutting fee depending on the size of the cake. A $2.00 per person fee is charged for all wedding cakes.
For all events (meetings, birthday parties, private parties, wedding rehearsals etcetera) except a Funeral Reception, a room fee is charged at the time the event is booked. This fee is to cover costs such as room set-up, cleaning the banquet hall after the event, removing decorations, or additional personnel. Should guests not vacate the premises by the agreed upon ending time an additional fee will be charged.
Wine, beer, & cocktail prices are available upon request. Bar packages, such as premium bar package, beer & wine package or soft drink package are also available upon request
On special events, non-business hours, there is a $35.00 bartender fee for cash bar
